I must say this was the most fantastic experiance. Although I have been a musician for many years I had never done any recording before. This was a very informative and enjoyable day which I would recommend to anyone.

Whether you're a practised musician looking to get started in serious recording, or you're only a beginner at your chosen instrument, this experience will offer you the opportunity to flower in a real-life recording session. With the guidance of a professional studio engineer and music expert, you choose whether to play to backings, create yor own cover version, or record and produce your own music. Whatever you decide, we will record, mix and produce a finished CD-quality track for you to take home that day!

The experience can be tailored to suit you - we're on hand to offer you the support and instruction at whatever level you require. Depending upon your own abilities, we can work with you to:

Using our professional studio, set in a peaceful, rustic converted farmhouse with views over a secluded Welsh valley, all you need to do is relax and enjoy yourself.
The Beehouse offers Creative, Traditional Music Experiences, Music Workshops and Recording Studio Days as well as music experience and songwriting vouchers for musicians, singers and engineers, playing guitar, piano, or any other instrument - and also DJ experiences in a professional recording studio environment.
Because the Beehouse is primarily a music-based environment, involved daily in the commercial aspects of producing professional quality music, we are also equipped to offer a wide variety of music experiences besides those traditionally offered in conventional recording studio experiences. So we do offer a high quality singer experience, but we also offer much more besides. Our recording experiences can incorporate virtually any instrument or range of instruments, and we are able to introduce you to almost any aspect of studio activity, from recording to production, songwriting and arrangement.
The music workshop sessions are good fun and can be especially valuable for someone who has reached a good standard with a particular instrument, who would like to have a record of their achievements, or equally someone who wants to involve themselves in the creative aspects of commercial recording and production. Designed for all comers, we will work with you at your level to produce an end result you can be proud of.

Your Music Recording Studio Experience Day at the Beehouse
Your brilliant day begins when you arrive at the Beehouse, and meet the team. A brief chat follows during which we introduce ourselves and find out something about you and your interest in music. Recording at the Beehouse is a very relaxed event, and the agenda will be set largely by you, so after this it's straight into the studio, where your tracks have already been loaded or other preparations made, specific to your recording project.
Phil will work with you through your numbers, and the atmosphere is light and enjoyable. As you work, you get to hear elements to the finished product, and can walk through into the main studio to listen and contribute to ideas for improvement, changes etc, and see how all those buttons work!
If you run out of material during your music recording studio experience we can download or source other tracks in minutes to make the most of your day.
During the last hour you can relax in the studio lounge whilst Phil brings your recording together, and your disc is personalised to your taste.
You then leave with a fantastic music "album" to listen to - and hopefully a CD player in the car!
