The Beehouse Mini Recording Experience is a three hour recording studio experience for singers, musicians, and those who don't want a whole day session.
Costing £135, it offers three hours in a professional studio environment to
sing to backings or to make other musical recordings or even to have your own mini birthday party (up to 4). There is also an option to extend this to ten participants for £250.
The mini session, intended for complete beginners in a recording studio, is a lot of fun and highly enjoyable, with lots of support from
our friendly studio staff. You will be likely to be able to record one-three tracks in this time successfully, depending on how ready you are, and your own standards, although some have recorded up to five. Much depends on the time you spend warming up and how quickly and accurately you can lay down lines. If you can practise before you arrive, so much the better! This is particularly so for birthday party experiences.

Mini Recording Experience description:
*Three hours' recording, mixing and mastering, and the expertise of a professional studio engineer producer. (Other length sessions available)
* A beautiful voucher for the experience day by first class post, with a personal letter describing the gift.
* A commercial standard disc and MP3 of your recording.
* Singers: Free use of the studio in-house backings (many thousands). One unlisted track may also be bought in from our approved supplier at our expense.
* For musicians, access to backings as and when required, editing and special effects for your instruments. A selection of pianos, professional keyboards and guitars are available at the studio.
* Microphone coaching.
* Vocal layering instruction where required
* Tuning assistance if needed, for that final product!
* Use of the studio lounge and 42" plasma screen television/DVD for your guests.
* Up to four may come with you to back you up, and take photographs.
* Suitable for up to four participants.
* Suitable for all ages - staff are CRB checked.
* Any lyrics provided on request in advance or on the day.
* An MP3 of your recording also available on the day.

* The studio is set in an isolated location in outstanding unique countryside. Spend the night at a local bed and breakfast, or hotel, or camp out.
* Studio staff have between them both a high level of musical experience and training, and various teaching and languages qualifications. Well equipped to make anyone feel at ease.
* Your studio production engineer, Phil, has a great rate of success even with the shyest individuals. We enjoy the experiences, and so will you!
* We are immensely flexible and musical. If you decide at the last minute that you're bringing your flugelhorn instead, we'll be delighted, and play in all the backings for you! Please surprise us!

Your Mini Recording Experience Day at the Beehouse
Your brilliant day begins when you arrive at the Beehouse, and meet the team. A brief chat follows during which we introduce ourselves and find out something about you and your singing preferences. You may wish to have a cup of tea or something else, although by that stage, you'll realise that recording at the Beehouse is a very relaxed event, and the agenda will be set largely by you.
Then into the studio, where your tracks have already been loaded.
Phil will work with you through your numbers, and the atmosphere is light and enjoyable. As you work, you get to hear elements to the finished product, and can walk through into the main studio to listen and contribute to ideas for improvement, changes etc, and see how all those buttons work!
If you run out of material during a pop star experience we can download or source other tracks in minutes to make the most of your day.
During the last hour you can relax in the studio lounge whilst Phil brings your recording together, and your disc is personalised to your taste.
You then leave with a fantastic product to listen to - and hopefully a CD player in the car!
