The Beehouse Recording Studio Experience is available to singers
or musicians of all ages and experience who'd like the experience of recording either cover versions or their own music. A fun day with brillliant results on a CD to take home.
Every voucher may be used for any equal value type of experience on our
website. All vouchers may be upgraded on the day if you wish.
Still at £199.75, this voucher offers five hours in a professional
studio environment either to to
sing to backings or to have a go at recording your own music with a
recording producer at a professional recording studio. Both longer and

The recording studio experience session, which is suitable for
complete beginners in a recording studio and professional or
semi-professional performers alike, is a lot of fun and highly
enjoyable, with lots of support from
our friendly studio staff. The whole recording atmosphere is geared
to relaxation and enjoyment, and the resulting CD is usually highly
impressive, reflecting the array of experience, production and recording
skills provided.
We offer both singing and musician type experiences in this time frame.
i. Singing Experience
During the five hour singing experience, you should aim at
around five tracks. Much depends on the time you spend warming up and
how quickly and accurately you can lay down lines. If you can practise
before you arrive, so much the better!
During our recording studio singing experiences, our production
engineer will also work with you on microphone technique and layering of
vocals in a variety of pop styles if you want. Our recording studios
for the day are able to select backings from our extensive in-house
catalogue, or request more unusual tracks to be ordered in. Occasionally
bespoke tracks can be developed.
Vocal tuning software is available for that additional polish which is sometimes requested on a singer experience!
We also have a variety of vocal effects and techniques to lend different qualities to your vocals.
ii Music Experience
During a music experience you will spend five hours
either recording cover versions or your own music. To achieve this, you
may use a variety of different methods : some use backing tracks so
that they can lay down their guitar or bass lines, drums or other covers
with the professionals. Others are interested in creating a track from
scratch, and here our studio staff will join in by supplying any
additional instrumentation required either for cover versions or for new
material. Or you can do it all yourself if you like!! For more

*Five hours' recording, mixing and mastering, and the expertise of a professional studio engineer producer.(Other length sessions available)
* A beautiful voucher for the experience day by first class post, with a personal letter describing the gift.
* A commercial standard disc and MP3 of your recording.
* Singers: Free use of the studio in-house backings (many
thousands). Two unlisted tracks may also be bought in from our approved
supplier at our expense, within the cost of the 5 hr voucher.
* For musicians, access to backings as and when required, editing
and special effects for your instruments. A selection of pianos,
professional keyboards and guitars are available at the studio.
* Microphone coaching.
* Vocal layering instruction where required
* Tuning assistance if needed, for that final product!
* Use of the studio lounge and 42" plasma screen television/DVD for your guests.
* Up to four may come with you to back you up, and take photographs.
* Suitable for up to four singing participants.
* Suitable for all ages - staff are CRB checked.
* Any lyrics provided on request in advance or on the day.
* Key changing service available for many tracks - please enquire for details.
*An MP3 of your recording also available on the day.

* The studio is set in an isolated
location in outstanding unique countryside. Spend the night at a local
bed and breakfast, or hotel, or camp out.
* Studio staff have between them both a high level of musical
experience and training, and various teaching and languages
qualifications. Well equipped to make anyone feel at ease.
* Your studio production engineer, Phil, has a great rate of success
even with the shyest individuals. We enjoy the experiences, and so will
you!
* We are totally flexible and musical. If you decide at the
last minute that you're bringing your flugelhorn instead, we'll be
delighted, and play in all the backings for you! Please surprise us!
