The Beehouse Pop Star Experience is the traditional "singing to backings" version of the recording studio experience.

At £199.75, it offers five hours in a professional studio environment to sing to backings and to have a go at being a professional pop star. There is also a three hour mini-experience available.

The session, intended for complete beginners in a recording studio, is a lot of fun and highly enjoyable, with lots of support from our friendly studio staff. The whole atmosphere is geared to relaxation and enjoyment, even though the resulting CD is often highly impressive! Come in a car with a CD player!

If you're wondering what you can hope to record, some strong cabaret artists and experienced singers have recorded as many as fourteen tracks in a five-hour day singing experience, although 4 or 5 is more likely. Much depends on the time you spend warming up and how quickly and accurately you can lay down lines, so if you can practise before you arrive, so much the better!

During a pop star singing experience, our production engineer will also work with you on microphone technique and layering of vocals in a variety of pop styles if you want. Singers are able to select backings from our extensive in-house catalogue, or request more unusual tracks to be ordered in. Occasionally bespoke tracks can be developed.

Vocal tuning software is available for that additional polish which is sometimes requested on a singer experience! We also have a variety of vocal effects and techniques to lend different qualites to your vocals.
There are two available options for a singer experience: the five hour "Recording Studio Experience" or "Music Experience", costing £199.75 or the ten hour "Recording Two-Day Experience" costing our new seasonal price of £350.
